Ca me surprend un peu, vu les pedigrees de beaucoup de personnes par ici, dont les goûts m'incitent à penser que cette artiste là serait vraiment leur came.
Bref, je me remets son 3e album entre les oreilles (paru en 2013) et je me régale vraiment. Ce folk-country-rock est d'une très belle facture, servie par la superbe voix de la songwriteuse. En mode mid-tempo, comme en mode "poignante ballade à la Elvis" (voir ci-dessous) ou encore en mode cavalcade effrénée, c'est une imparable réussite. Je ne mets que 3 extraits, mais le reste est du même (formidable) tonneau.
Sinon, je ne peux que conseiller aux personnes intéressées de jeter par la même occasion 2 oreilles sur son précédent qui est de la même excellente veine.
Je reste par contre clairement sur ma faim pour son tout dernier album.

Superbe ! J'ai reçu Cigarettes and truckstops ce matin et l'autre est en route.
